Healthy hair is a dream of everybody. Despite of age, gender and other factors having a fabulous and healthy hair is a fantasy for every individual. Most of us use green tea as a slimming product to burn all the unwanted fat deposited in human body, but the work of green tea exceeds all these fat burning benefits and it is famous for its antioxidant properties, enzymes, amino acids and vitamins. Green tea has more health benefits because green tea undergoes less time in the fermentation process when compared with the time spent by the black tea in its fermentation process. This less time spent in fermentation process secures the health benefits in it.

Green tea is the best solution for hair loss. All the men and women suffer from hair loss because of many reasons such as stress, unhealthy diets, lack of vitamins and minerals, addiction to junk food, lack of exercises, lack of good sleep, hormonal problems etc. Everybody has a hair cycle and when hair loss occurs hair cycle begins to change. Because of two hormones testosterone and dihydrotestosterone hinders the hair growth and promote hair loss. It has found that catechins (EGCG) in green tea can be used to promote hair growth and reduce hair fall. EGCG found in green tea stimulates hair follicles, strengthen hair cells and thereby promotes hair growth by reducing hair fall. As per the research found in the National Library of Medicine (National Center for Biotechnology Information) under the name of “human hair growth enhancement in vitro by green tea epigallocatechin-3-gallate (EGCG)” found out that EGCG stimulates hair growth. Not only this, free radicals can damage hair too by increasing hair loss. Antioxidants in green tea fights against hair loss and promotes hair growth and regrowth. Therefore, we can do some home remedies to reduce hair loss and to promote hair growth. What we can do is preparing a cup of green tea dripped water and letting it cool and add two table spoons of coconut oil for it. Then apply it on the scalp and leave it for about 20 minutes and rinse it off thoroughly. Doing this on continuous basis will speed up the hair growth and will reduce hair loss.

During the hair cycle, there is a phase called hair growth stage. During this stage, it is essential to have more nutrients to the hair. By drinking green tea, this stage can be stimulated and have the possibility of bringing forward the essential nutrients and oxygen required in the hair growth phase by increasing the blood flow. Increased blood flow to the hair cells is good to reduce hair fall too. You can simply drink 2-4 cups of green tea per day to have the benefits. But exceeding this limit is not good because having more cups of green tea will enhance the amount of caffein we intake. Not only this but also green tea is good to bring a shine to hair, to avoid hair dryness, and dandruff.

We can directly consume green tea or we can rinse off the hair using green tea or we can use green tea as hair masks There are different types of natural hair masks that we can use on continuous basis. Mixing green tea dripped water (two table spoons), one egg yolk, olive oil and applying it on the scalp (good for hair dryness, hair growth and to reduce hair loss), Blending green tea leaves with aloe-vera by adding some water and making it a thick mixture and applying it on hair (good remedy to treat hair dryness), Mixture of green tea, coconut oil and lemon juice is a good remedy for dandruff, Mixture made-up of honey and green tea is working as a good moisturizer and will give hair a good shiny look, mixing green tea with some sort of a essential oil will provide us with soften hair. We can rinse off hair with green tea added water to gain more benefits. But we have to do these remedies in continuous basis to gain correct and exact results and to maintain the results. Now there are different products manufactured by different producers that give same results as green tea do. Therefore, it is good to use a good natural hair care product that contains natural green tea extracts to gain good results.

Though this gives more benefits it is not recommended for children and it is known as an adult drink and it is not good to consume more than 5 cups of green tea per day. Therefore, we can use green tea as a remedy for hair care because of its massive benefits.
